In this 90 minute LIVE Zoom class, learn how to work with puff pastry, create a standard creme patisserie, and decorate and style a tart! Baker and actor Lisa Graye will talk you through each step and answer questions. You will leave the class with 8 beautifully crafted pastries for your dessert, breakfast, or coffee break.
About the baker
Hi! My name is Lisa and I am the owner of Little Graye Bakery, a female owned and operated bakery dedicated to systemic change and amplifying the voices of the silenced. I started this bakery in July of 2020 after the Pandemic put a pause on my acting career. I realized there was a societal need for advocacy and activism.
At that time, I moved back in with my parents and was helping my older brother Max, who has Autism, transition into this time of uncertainty, loss, and change. After losing his program, his schedule, and his social life, he found out he wouldn’t be able to attend his favorite summer camp run by AHRC NYC.
One of the things that kept Max’s spirits up were the desserts I would bake for him. My family is thankful for AHRC NYC and we are hopeful that camp and other programming will safely open in person again this summer. Let’s bake together in support of AHRC NYC!
