Financial Information

The AHRC New York City Foundation Board of Directors meets immediate needs of New York City programs serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through its grant-making program, at the same time building its investment assets for future needs.

The board seeks to maximize revenue through cost-efficient events and other fund-raising efforts and through its investment strategy.  The Foundation complies with all relevant federal, state and New York City laws and regulations and has been determined by the Internal Revenue Service to be a 501(c)(3) organization.  An annual audit of the Foundation’s finances is conducted by an independent firm.  The board selected Mazars to audit records of the most recent fiscal year.
