Since 1980, the Thurman Munson Awards Dinner has celebrated the heart and heroism of the Yankees’ legendary captain while fueling AHRC NYC Foundation’s life-changing work.
The event has raised over $24 million to empower New Yorkers with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Each year, it honors pro and Olympic athletes whose excellence on the field is matched by their impact off it, along with a distinguished corporate humanitarian honoree recognized for outstanding leadership and community service.
